I can't even go out to get lunch without being bothered by them!

Jerk 1. Decides he doesn't want to wait for me to pass the stop sign he is sitting at and just goes.

I slam on my brakes and lay on the horn. He gets all pissy and starts screaming bloody murder at me.

WTF he was the one who screwed up!

Jerk 2. As I am taking a nice ride by the beach jerk 2 plants himself on my bumper, I refer to these people as "ass monkeys". Now mind you that I am doing 35-40 in a 25, which I guess wasn't fast enough for him.

People suck, I want to move to a more rural area. All the nutjobs come out on weekends.

Not that I would ever do it, but it sure would be fun to teach these jerks a leasson. Just like that 6.9 tailgating video that is going around. Slam on my brakes for jerk 2 and pull across the road. Two guys in suits and long jackets get out, put on gloves, pop the trunk, one gets a baseball bat, the other an AK47.

Walk over as he is crapping his pants, open the window with the bat, and ask him why he is in such a rush. Bet he never tailgates again!

Hehehehe.... The G is excellent at making panic stops.

I was driving my dad around in the G today, and we were going thru a cone zone. The speed limit was 25, and I was going 25. Well, a guy in some black car came up on me fast, and slammed on his brakes when he got behind me. He was impatient, and was on my tail...

A cat crossed the road, and I nailed the brakes. ABS kicked in, and stopped the 6500 lb tank dead in its tracks... The guy was following close, and did a hard right pull to the right to avoid me, as he locked up his brakes too. He wound up in the ditch, and I think he was stuck. I pulled away, and continued onto the next light.

Guy in a BMW 5 series was behind him, pulled up next to me at the light, and gave the the thumbs up.... My dad and I laughed.

You got a beater, and nothing to lose....

Give em hell!

I was hoping people would be to broke to go nuts this year, but I guess not. Thats it I won't go to a store until after New Years.

I was enjoying the last ride in my SDL.

But yes, last year I took good advantage of my $200 beater.

A few times I almost had $50k Lexus bumper covers.

A birdie in the shape of Dogbert told me someone needs a chrome trim piece for the top of a bumper.

I happen to have a W126 American Bumper sitting next to my house, and will be happy to pass it along for shipping...

Thanks but I already have a good spare bumper sitting in my basement. One of these days I'll put it on.

Bah I don't have time to mess with cars anymore. Also the cover is a different color and I don't have the money to get it painted. The rusted bumper doesn't bother me much I'm used to it. I have some aluminum duct tape over it.

One of these days I'll have the money to paint my car. Currantly I have $3k worth of mechanical issues ahead of the $5k needed for paint. The trans is on its last legs for starters.

No not aluminum foil, aluminum ducting tape. I stole some from our HVAC contractors.

Well I was going to get some money this fall and was planning on doing quite a bit to the old girl. $8k worth of stuff, finish everything. But for various reasons out of my control that I won't go into here I don't think its happening.

As of now I'm thinking about parking the SDL for all of next year until I can afford to fix what needs to be. The transmission is pretty close to being done and I can't afford to fix it, so I might not have a choice anymore. I lost a quart of ATF this week, and its flaring pretty good. Luckly I have a nice dry heated garage to do that.

Hole No.3: I'm driving the LIE doing 65 (55 limit) in the HOV lane (OK in the off hours). Apparently, I didn't understand that this lane is the 85mph lane and that it's the God given right of the a'hole to go 85 mph.

He gets out of the lane at the earliest opportunity and gives me the finger as he heads off to the far right lane to try to get to his mandatory 85 mph.
