December roll-call

Howdy All,
Last one for the year. Anybody going anywhere, doing anything special?

Just hoping to survive it. November was the worst month I've had in a long time. December will be colder and longer. I'll be looking for a new place to live, and if I ever get motivated, a new job. No exciting plans ... just hang out with my cat and stay warm.

Here, sort of.
Trying to talk myself into another Benz. Looked at an old one a month ago, whatever it was, something from the early 70's. Not a bad project car, but they wanted to much, and it wasn't a diesel. Looked like a 240D from the road.
Anyway, still making L-3 parts for the Predator, and Parker Hannefin parts for the Tomahawk. Hate to say it, but the war is keeping our head above water thru this recession.

Still here. Came through Thanksgiving pretty well - actually lost weight because of all the hard work I did on my 4 days off! Staying home the whole month, doing Christmas with friends and the regular family get-together Christmas day.

My December short to-do list:

Fix the fuel system air leak in the 300
Sell the extra LT1 V8.
Sell the extra auto tranny.
Sell the white truck.
Get new batteries for the Ford.

Plus a bunch of other small stuff...

Present and accounted for.

Celebrated #3's 6th yesterday and celebrating #1's 11th tomorrow. Going to Chicago on Wednesday for a Thursday morning business meeting with my brother and we plan to spend the day with my sister Wed.

Today I get to beat the Chevy/GMC dealers into submission for a new truck for our new VT/NH salesman.

Yo!
I will be wrangling the family and taking the 'Burban up to Wisconsin to my brother's house for Christmas this year. They came to NY last year. Should be a fun trip. I will be making stops at Canton Ohio-- NFL hall of fame, South Bend Indiana-- Notre Dame (touchdown Jesus here we come!) AND the Studebaker Museum, and Chicago. Yee Haw!

The colder it gets, the more I find that I want to do to my car. Not exactly the best situation since I don't have a garage!
Just got the ABS working on the same day as the first snowfall. For the next few moths I'll just be taking it easy and keeping the car from rusting out on me.
Come spring it'll be time to look for a new job and spend lots of money on suspension parts. Eek

I'm still here, too. Planning on spending as much time with my kids and my SO as possible during the holidays. Hopefully, they will be quiet. The holidays, I mean, not the kids . . . .

Good luck with quieting that SO. I have a feeling sugar will work better than anything else.

Hello all, and (almost) Happy Holidays.

Its getting colder out, as well as foggier too. (Well my brain is Foggy this time of year too.)

Frank, do you have the top on your Jeep?
