OK, I am going crazy here. I cannot find an answer to a simple question on product reviews and so forth.

Situation:
I have Direct TV with a Hughs receiver
No connection to TV or internet

What I want:
I want a simple DVR that I can connect to my sat receiver and record shows while I am traveling. But I do not want any subscription to any service or anything like that.

So what DVR can I get? I want to use it like the old time VHS Players that one programs the time and channel to record.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
