To convert any document to a .pdf, you need Adobe's Acrobat.........not the reader......a fairly costly program.

There are some cheaper pdf conversion programs around. Not sure if there are any free ones though.

If all alse fails, print it and scan to pdf using a scanner.

You need a pdf print driver. This one works great for what you want to do. Just download the trial version.

The free ones allow you to merely print to a static file. Without something more advanced you can't edit the text, make chapters, hyperlinks, embedding objects, security, etc.

PDF-Xchange Viewer does pretty much all of that and it's free.

Copy and Paste the email into OpenOffice, then save as a .pdf

Install one of the Printer Drivers that prints to a pdf file

On a Mac, the screen images are rendered in 'Display PDF' or PostScript - anything can be exported to a .pdf using built in functionality.
