It'd be a great deal cheaper to buy a big garbage can at Home Despot,crawl into it with a bottle of Everclear,a football helmet and a joint.

If you have any friends they can kick you around and roll it down the stairs simulating a spaceride.

We used to do that, up over and down the neighborhood slag dumps, when I was a kid. But in old refrigerator boxes, that quickly took on the characteristics of tank treads, with boys as gears.
Oh, the everclear and the jernt weren't for a few years to come though.
