I have/had to work with equipment manuals that are transpolated Japanese-into-English, or "Jinglish" as I've named it over 25 years ago...

"Put plus-driver in plus-slot, rotate until needle is mid-metre, dot plus-slot with compound so not to rotate when removed plus-driver lightly."

TRANSLATION: "Insert phillips screwdriver into pot, adjust pot until needle is mid-scale, then "glypt" the pot to lock it in place when the adjustment is completed."

BTW, a Minus-driver is....yep, a straight-blade...

Those manuals were a hoot when you were bored...I'll have to look up a few more!
