Oh I'm here, and at work. I hate this place (work, not shopforum, that is!). I also get to work News Years Eve until 1 a.m., and new years day/night.

Hey man, what do you do for a living that makes you have to work on Holidays?

Holiday work sucks. I'm thankful I don't have to do that anymore. Few years ago I'd be leaving the kitchen right now to go to my hotel room only to be in the kitchen at 4am the next morning.

I'm not gonna make anyone work for my benefit tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

Copy editor at a newspaper, on night desk. There's news every day of the year, and some poor sucker has to put it in the paper. I want to quit but the pay isn't terrible (considering the economy) and I don't have any other ideas or skills.

But ... Merry Christmas anyway!

I am in the printing industry and I understand where you are coming from. But after 30 years of it. I decided that I need some time off. You should do the same. Your sanity NEEDS it.

Merry Christmas to you too!

I'm cookin' up a storm in my own kitchen tomorrow. Turkey, dressing, baked sweet potatoes, steamed peas, rolls, jellied cranberry, wine, beer, etc.

Sugar cookies came out so-so, for a first time try at 'em!
