HEMI, baby !!

It's also a roomy comfortable car that reminds you of what big American iron used to be. Other cars can out-handle it and give better road feedback, but it has coolness factor thats hard to beat. The regular 300 is sorta drab inside but the 300C has some additional goodies that make it look and feel nicer.

So-
negatives:
- its an American car with low resale
- some blind spots due to high beltline
- bad non-highway MPG, but gets low 20s on open road
- clumsy handling, sometimes

positives:
- big and roomy, no claustrophobia especially with the big sunroof open
- HEMI power
- coolness (just ask some kids)
- M-B running gear
- no squeaks and rattles (yet)

I like the looks of the 300 plus the fact that is has MB underpinnings and a Hemi are plusses. The only thing that makes me think twice is the condition of Chrysler. I would hate to buy one only to have the company go the way of Studebaker... I would wait at least a year to see if the company is still around.

Even if they go under, someone will buy and make a business of their parts inventory. There'll be a ready supply of repair and replacement parts for years to come.

True, but there will be no dealer support and no warranty... I for one hope Chrysler can survive, but I think they will sell off the Jeep brand for whatever they can get and shut the rest down

They don't do anything for me, actualy I think they are starting to look dated.

Once the home boys got ahold of them, I lost interest. They are quite popular in New Haven though, usualy sitting outside a section 8 with dubs, dark tints, and lots of subs in them.

A8 is a GREAT driving vehicle, especially the SWB but DO NOT.... I repeat DO NOT get one without a GOOD extended warranty. While fairly reliable, the things that do go wrong are expensive, like trunk lift motors, MMI screen drive motors, air struts, thermostat.....
