I like a LOT of the obscure 80's electronic stuff...I'll post more vids once I find them.

The Flirts - Helpless

Siouxie - Peek-A-Boo

I can keep posting links forever!!!!
Dammit, you beat me to Siouxsie Sioux

The Flirts, new to me but I liked it.

I have "Sometimes I wish I were Dead" and your right, a lot of people don't know about it. I have a lot of their hard to find remixes as well. This is my favorite obscure song by them, no lyrics, but its fitting "theme music"....for myself

Kate Bush anyone?

You hear a lot of their newer music on Top Gear from time to time.

Naked Eyes: more well known for "Promises Promises and of course the Quintessentially 80s "Always Something there to Remind me" But I like the other stuff as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNQt34QQi3M

I don't think the iPod generation really appriciates music. I was talking about this with my uncles the other day when we asked my younger cousin "When was the last time you listed to an entire album from beginning to finish?" The answer? Never. "I just make my own playlists..."
She completly missed the point

Wow, Fulcrum...it's like to got into my iTunes playlist or something...

I was about to post Kate Bush, but I thought that was too "mainstream"

I used to listen to Wuthering Heights in the 300SEL...I remember one particular day during summer at about 10AM, I had that song blasting with the sunroof open and the AC on...it was amazing. Like a magic carpet ride...smooth, silent, awesome. HAHAH. Good memories.

Here's a weird taste for your ears...

AC/DC - High Voltage - IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP (If you wanna Rock 'n' Roll) = Orgasmic F***IN' BAGPIPES!!!!

I have no idea why that hits me like that...Weird Al overdosed on Hagas, or something...the S-10's volume control doesn't go to 15...stops at 10 and that's still not loud enough for me...

Yes! Good song and I love the video.

I can't remember the song now, but there was another video that used the same technique (maybe made by the same people). IIRC, the guy was banging himself into a wall to break free from the animation and be with some girl.

Awesome song:

I met these guys at a recording studio that was next door to a hardwood floor refinishing company I worked at while in college. It was called Kajem Studio IIRC.

That's a good song, never heard it before.

How about some "Big Country"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkr_2G3Jlko

And a Thomas Dolby song you may not have heard before...
