Your argument is rational. What burns my ass is thats a god damn horrible death for a Ranger. I have no doubt that during that attack the detail wished that they had the protection of their comrades.

It would be hard to just sit still with something like that particularly if you knew the guy, served with him, or came from the same brotherhood.

Yes.

They did their primary task first, usually protecting private property from looters. But they also plucked people out of water and gave folks clean drinking water and food. No compensation as far as I know. (But I'll say this -- they looked like guys you would not f**k with. They also worked Rita in SW LA).


It's easier to paint everybody with the same brush.
