Democrats are in it for the money.

Republicans are in it for the money.

Both are afraid of term limits, for fear it will shorten their money gathering time.

Well...
In aerobatics, it’s always easier to push the right wing up, then it is to pull the left wing up.

Is that because of prop rotation?

Nope.
It’s because you can put your whole right arm and shoulder into pushing the stick to the left. But usually your forearm is doing most of the work pulling it back to the right.

That's also why most of the modern aerobatic aircraft (the 9+- serious ones anyway)have long(er) sticks, mounted a bit further away from the pilot.

So, ... how are things in the land of aeroplane-envy?

Well...
With the countless number of threads that have turned from their OP to a political mudfest. I personally find it a pleasant change to go from political bashing to aviation with a thread.

My apologies for the hi-jack right out of the gate there. But it does now seem that not too many here wish to flood this thread with posts related to its original intent.

Bot –
Things here are just fine. Well, except for the weather that is. Flying has been a hit and miss game.

Shelby got drilled over that little ditty regarding the Spitfire. It launched Darby into being a little stinkpot on the issue as well. So she’s got it coming too. That's how it all broke.
I told Shel that not only will the payback be a b-tch. But that her karma had taken a serious hit as well. She laughed at that remark the same day she took a guy up in her 300L, who in turn left his lunch of spaghetti and meat sauce all over the aircraft.
Really put a damper on her day (or two), as I walked by and giggled my a-s off.
Next time you connect with her, ask how her new shop-vac is working out.
