As far as the domain name goes, there is a good amount of criticism going on in another thread. I can understand where the name peachparts came from. The site originated just outside of Atlanta - many references to peaches there (Peachtree, being the biggest). However, I have to agree with many posters, that the name seems rather disconnected, with what this site is all about.
I hope the owners do not feel insulted about this.... I hope they see that the primary reason for the concern over the name peachparts is that they worry about the continued survival and growth of this site.

Is there a limitation on domain name length? Couldn't do something Prince-like and call it: siteformerlyknownasmercedesshop.com ?

I really don't know. It just seems that everytime I go to Atlanta, I end up on Peachtree. I can't be lost for more than 10-15 mins. and I will either be crossing, or driving on some sort flavor of Peachtree.

A quickie search on yahoo maps, claims that there are nearly 30 varieties of Peachtree in Atlanta. (8 of them are actually Streets, the rest are Road, Place, Drive, Way, etc.)
