I saw one like that (more or less) the other day here. It looked like the longer wheelbase was intended to make it able to carry a load.

Back in '73 when I visited Morrocco I used to see fellows riding bikes with dual wicker baskets on the back end and an adult sheep in each side...alive and looking around.

Course in the market place they used to have live chickens too....hanging upside down by their feet and their heads pretty much rightside up and looking around alertly.

This way you could look at the chicken and be sure it was fresh.

We also ate in a restaurant in Marakesh which had a big side of beef in glass out front of the restaurant. I ordered a steak. The waiter went out and cut a piece off it and brought it by for me to look at, then took it back to the kitchen where it was cooked for me.

In '73 they still lacked refrigerators in many places.

Well my build did not cost me $2,450. Mine cost me about $1,700. Just as good, last year's parts.
