If you're going to nerd it up, why not just get an AMC Pacer station wagon with factory woodgrain trim and do it right? If you can't find one, a late-model Tahoe would do in a pinch.

A local guy who ran an upholstery shop out of a pole barn had a KITT replica project he was working on. Nerd central around that place. It was impressive in that it did indeed look like KITT, but you wouldn't catch me in an F-body of that era (or any after 1970 or so, for that matter). Yuck.

Or a Pontiac Aztek. I saw one of those down near East St Louis a couple of weeks ago on 20" gold rims. Never would have figured an Aztek for a ghetto cruiser.

No idea, bad taste in decorating though....3 tons of classy looking marble and granite and he ruined it with that TV set.
