Commercial. Boeing, Airbus…
Most of the CatIII w/ auto-land aircraft are scheduled for the airports that most often get socked in. I made a bunch of 757/767 flights with the system. Pretty awesome. Does it all. Auto-throttles, etc. Even tells you when/where flaps, gear, etc. All you do is program the destination into the FMS (Flight Management System) and go. (Few more steps, but that’s it in a nut shell.) Of course you’re being told by ATC where to go, but that’s just a knob or two on the glair shield. Once you intercept the ILS the plane can take it from there. Sometimes you don’t even have to do that. Here’s how easy it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKtHO-7oB7E ![]() ![]() It’s all about trusting the electrons. Yep - Sometimes hi-tech be pretty nifty.

I do trust it more than a human pilot.
Too bad I can't go see it anymore since all the security measures are in place.

can't say any of your options really strike a chord with me.
Its a personal time for self-reflection and the recollection of what the hell it was that I ate which is now my penance for gluttonous hedonism. |

That's what YOU do? You're curious? Contemplate the meaning of life and stuff like that, do you?
I find some good reading material always helps to get things "going . . . ."

My potty experiences have been less than delightful for the past six months up until recently, when I passed a stone the size of a watermelon seed!
![]() All of a sudden, the constant pain, interrupted flow, and frequent trips to the restroom immediately ceased! Amazing how you can take such simple things for granted...I feel like a new man! ![]() And I no longer have to plan my daily events based on the proximity of restrooms! ![]() Lesson learned...take NOTHING for granted, and always count your blessings!
