Go to the "Edit Options" link in your User CP, and at the very bottom, choose the low-graphics skin. It's probably just about what you need.

Is it really that wise/necessary to be on the forum while mobile or driving? Surely you can live without it for that period of time?

If I touched my phone last week after I finished pulling an alternator from a Saab, it would have ruined the phone.

Side note: Saabs are poorly designed. It should not be that hard to get an alternator out!
