You can bet he's in debt up to his ying-yang in payments.....each and every friggin' month. You get paid last, Swede.....that's how these losers think of a servant guy at a car place.......to him, you are dirt, that's why he pulls this on you. $50 or $500.....he pays you last!

He's part of a flashy-phoney world of high-pressure telephone commodity sales, a real big-wheel in his mind -- those guys are all losers, like some bankers I know of........he he.....

Remove the spare tire and jack next time he's in...you can always eBay it and get SOME money off the deal...and he's in a bind when/if he needs it...IT AIN'T THERE!!!

Who's he going to blame? He didn't have the cash to pay you for a job well done...so you do a job on him and you get some of the cash...how much do you think it's going to run him to get the same style wheel/tire combo...let alone the jack, too?

Better yet, let him detail his own cars...and make a display in your business that makes an example of him as to why you don't extend credit to cretins...'cause "...this dumb@55 didn't pay...you all have to have COD or there's no return of the vehicle..."

Better yet...

Doesn't your state have "Mechanic Liens Laws" on their books? The customer pays in full or the mechanic has all rights to said vehicle 'til the full amount due is paid in full? Maybe you might have the right to file a lien against his vehicle...he can't sell it or the new owner can't title it 'til the lien is cleared and you don't have to chase his ass all over the place...

Yoda Voice: Do that, I would. Do that, I have.

Edit: Be careful of who you ask to serve papers. I tend to use the PD because they can get into places a process server cannot. The process server might be refused entry but few people have the stones to tell a cop to FAWK OFF.

He called me from his cell phone Tuesday night and said he'd be by "FOR SURE" Thursday to pay.

No show today, so I called him. "Oh sorry, sorry, sorry".

Said he's having breakfast with a client tomorrow and is getting money, so will call me around 10AM.

If, by noon he blows me off, I'm going over to his office.

Also, I do have the voicemail from Tuesday. Wonder if there's a way I can post the audio?

Tell him to keep the $125 and use it to buy a shirt that doesn't make him look like he's ready to explode.

"Crafty Veteran" + "Use sound money management and you could be one of the good statistics in a business full of bad ones" = If you find a sucker, play him for a fool

Sorry dude but he is jerking you around big time. How about everybody flooding him with email on this topic?
