I can't get on to his web site. I'm guessing traffic is way up and the server is swamped. Other web sites indicate that he's a former U.S. Navy officer (discharged 1956), and was working as an artist. I also read that his family thinks he's mentally ill. I'm inclined to agree.

I had Limbaugh on the radio a few minutes ago. He's working hard to make sure everyone understands that it is the Democrats and the DHS who are the ones spreading the hate in this situation and that this shooter was not influenced in any way by right wing hate speech. Limbaugh's "logic" was up to it's normal lofty standards but my main reaction was that he was protesting a little too much.

White supremist thought patterns are so far beyond what you would get on normal talk radio, it would almost seem like something from another planet. This guy would have hated Rush since Rush's call screener "Bo" Snerdly is black... These guys are in a world of hate so strong that you would be sickened by what you would hear.

BTW, if he died, good riddance. If not, lets hope that he does. MENSA membership doesnt preclude you from being a beast.....

as much as i despise the right wing talk shows and tv, i think you can't really blame them for all this. no one would be that easily prompted to go shoot and kill, just from listening and watching. the media might be the proverbial "straw that breaks the camel's back", but it's kind of hard to prove. these last two shooters both seem like whack jobs; both these clowns have records going back a long way - the kansas guy at least ten, twelve years, and the d.c. guy back to the early '80's.

Should we take preemptive action and simply export the right wingers out of the country or maybe to a concentration camp for re-education? Seems like everything is the right-wing's fault so maybe the left should be the only one around to keep an eye on things. I'll bet that the world will be peaceful after that. Thank (insert deity here) for the sanity of the left wingers or the world would have split into two already.
