I have extremely bright sunlight at certain times that causes the door sensors on my garage to not allow the door to go down. I have heard you can't just disconnect the sensors from the motor. I am wondering do the sensors close a circuit, or open a circuit when triggered? I suppose I could tape them together, but if I can hot wire it, that would be easier.
