I don't recall ever asking for help on this forum on anything but my Mercedes. I've also "mentioned" my BMW. I fail to see the "hypocrisy".

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/index.php is a good place to look. iirc, the schools are very expensive and many grads end up at Jiffy Lube. There are posts around here to this effect.

gamble
A lot of these schools are expensive gambles in the end doesnt matter what manufacturer it is. I had gotten in the MB elite program but it got canceled before the start since mercedes canceled the funding. Now the elite program tution isnt payed for by the dealer and anyone entering it has to pay for it.
I am trying to ether get factory training or some ASE so Im not working at places firestone etc which pay $8.50 an hour. I already have went to a tech school so im looking to advanced my training. I am not getting to much luck in terms of getting jobs at various places and Im thinking im lacking the professional experience that places are looking for. I can do a lot things on a car but lacking professional experience no one is really believing me ![]() I have talked to dealership techs about getting started in the automotive field and many have told me get factory training and ASES, having both is really good asset is good since you can ask for higher rate of pay.
