The 740 is all plastic.........plastic intake manifold.........hardly find any iron under the hood........
But, I took it down to NC and back over the last three days. One tank was pushing very close to 25 mpg.........stunning for a 4400 lb. vehicle with 280 hp.
Ya, I have an 01' 540. Just finished replacing the valve cover gaskets and valley pan today. All that plastic makes baby Jeebus cry
