Limewire and Frostwire

I had limewire 4.18 something on my computer this spring. I've come back to FL this week and found when I click on the shortcut nothing happens (while it does bring up the "moving" circle like it wants to start but never does). I downloaded the latest version and still the same thing. I try to run it from the administrator and same thing. (I am the administrator) So I downloaded Frostwire with the same results. I checked with most of my "guardware" (spy ware, firewall, ad-blocker etc) and it allows it as far as I can tell. Anyone have this issue and what was teh cause?
Thanks
I'm running Vista and high speed IC with about a year old PC.

At least they're done suing. Only took 'em a decade to realize it.

MTU I would completely uninstall and reinstall the program. Is it ONLY Limewire and Frostwire doing that and no other programs?

I've never had it but I've seen plenty of computers become completely screwed up by Limewire.

Delete it now while you still have a chance.

The RIAA is done opening new cases on music downloads. I believe the MPAA is still suing on the movies however, so you are correct. The RIAA announced that they weren't going to issue any new lawsuits but rather carry out existing ones then pressure ISPs to limit uploading and/or cut off interwebs access to the biggest IPs.
