The BBQ place in Cyclone, TX: not worth the trip.

the last time i was at Fatboys the lady serving up my banana pudding to-go portion had her finger halfway into my little half-pint container then when she got pudding on her finger she licked it off then with the same hand put a lid on my pudding. i have not been back. BBQ barn i think on aveue M just north of Scott & White has excellent BBQ. Clem Mikeskas in Temple is aweful but most of the locals seem to think it's the bomb. Glad I only lived there for 9 months.

But I bet the quanset hut place when you are coming into mineral wells from the east --bar/grill --was open since before the helo guys were training. Before helocopters were developed.

Schoepf's in Belton is excellent. Did it for lunch Friday: briskit, pork chop, sausage. All good however their sausage is just Meyer's (Elgin, TX) that they smoke in their pits.

Keep an eye on your tab too. They overcharged me $3.00 for my sausage... pleasant enough about making it right but, for some reason, I got the feeling that it wasn't an honest mistake.

If anyone is ever in Orlando check out 4 Rivers smokehouse on fairbanks ave. They also have another location in Winter Park.. The brisket is the best, the ribs too!
