I feel that many general education classes are best taken at a CC. In fact, most lower division requirements are best taken at a CC, especially when you get to the more difficult lower division classes within your major like Harmony 3 and 4 or inductive logic. My harmony 4 class had maybe 12 people in it and we got lots of help from the prof. We covered stuff by Schoenberg, Cage, Foss, Harrison, Barber, etc. All modern composers. Imagine doing that in a 4 year college with 30 students. Nigh impossible.

Personally. I think the first year or two at a CC is the right way to go.

Get all the core classes out of the way at a fraction of the cost, with a fraction of the students per classroom.

From what I've seen, they’ve gotten better.

When I was there. 1982-83. I’d bet that 75% of the campus was either from CT or PA.

I swear I’d never heard so much Bruce Springsteen and The Doors in my life.
Being from TX. I fit right into that crowd.

Turned out to be pretty cool folks though.

Did the A&P thing there.
Then TX A&M Aero E.
Then ERAU again for Aviation Biz/Mgnt.
Then....

little update..

UCF's online portal says my status is defered until an end of semester transcript is recieved. So I guess I wont really know until I send them my complete 100% transcrips (currently at 80%) so they can say yes or no.. or maybe I am in and they just need the full transcript..

What also kills me is I had to apply to go to CC and now I have to apply to graduate CC...

Im probably not even going to "walk"... graduating CC is not a big deal for me its like.. "k.. next" plus I wont have to spend money on cap and gown.. Maybe just announcements since people usually send money back... cha ching...

You're probably in. You just need the transcript. Sometimes it takes the CC some time to get it to them.
