----here is the definition for ya---
a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
If you really know that little about guns, you may want to reconsider owning one.
Before you kill an inocent person.
Pleas go read some real statistics.
Do I really need to point you to a list of countries, ordered in rank of amount of crime ?
Do you really think we have less crime than say canada or switzerland.
Please go learn a little about the world.
The one about better healthcare is easy- NO ONE I have yet to hear of someone who has a choice going to Canada or Mexico or Cuba etc to have any medical procedures done. RichC- i respect your passion for justice, but you need to take off the blinders. Obama and company is no better than, or any different than Bush and co. "Meet the new boss- same as the old boss".

The world health organization ranks healtcare in the united states 37th in the world.
One lower than Costa Rica.
I can see there are things that Obama supports that I do not,
in fact I do not support the war in Afganastan.
And specific issues that I do support like healthcare reform.
If you truly only see "meet the new boss, same as the old"
Then you are the one that has been blinded.[/QUOTE]
1) Sounds very much like what has happened--the government now has a vested interest in the means of production ( auto companies), and capital, ( banks)
2) Staistics on gun ownership---These stats which do tend to show that posessing agun is likely to harm the owner are compied for that very reason. They fail to take into account how many crimes. assaults etc are stopped by the posession of a weapon. These stats only include the gun where it was fired, but ignore all those cases where the presentation of the gun stops the incident.
3) Yes there are some problems with US healthcare--but those WHO stats, again are developed simply to make the point you make. They include , and use as their ranking data, some information that is irrelevant--miliatary service, gun ownership etc.
Statistics can be used to "prove" anything you want to prove by selective choice of the data. Would you switch places with someone in some of those countries that are ranked higher than the US?
The differences between democrats and republicans is less than the differences between the ruling class, and the working class. The "boss" is always a member of the ruling class. Think about it.
