At this point they owe it about 50-80 trillion dollars depending on whose figures you use. Our children are going to have a lower standard of living because of our addiction to using others people's money to solve our "problems".

Do you think the country that they are going to get for their money is a good deal?

Would you invest in an enterprise that had a balance sheet that looked like our Federal government?

BTW I agree with you 100% health care is not a luxury, it is a necessity just like food, clothing, heat and shelter. I guess those are next? Where does it stop?

Dozens and Dozens and more dozens of trillions of dollars. We oughta stop spending now and solve our problems with our money.

Our children will just have to work harder. Isn't that the argument? That one's standard of living is dependent on how not lazy one is?

Nope. If CEO Dick Cheney said what VP Dick Cheney said, that deficits don't matter, then I would avoid the company until he was gone and the damage undone.
