Does anybody know if a new car warranty covers the battery? I have a new car and it has not been driven in a month or so and it is dead. Like 5 volts dead. I have never seen a car battery that low. Hate to track down the dealer if he is going to tell me tough. I'll just head over to Sears otherwise.

I bought a new car last year, and it said in the manual that Tires and "other things" may be covered by their own separate warranties.


Most likely you will discover this is true for the battery, too.

Ask the service manager about it too.
