Do you have any children of your own? If so then wait until one of them gets married. As far as being "Normal". Of course it is. She is your sister and you love her(So we think. Not sure the family life at home) But assuming you love your sister. You care for her and you just want to see her and her significant other be happy. Also you are sad because you do not want to see her "Leave the nest" You are taking the same approach as your own father and mother. Sad to see their daughter getting married and off on her own. But yet excited because she if off on a new path in life to start a new family.

I nearly always get weepy at weddings. It's the potential of life that gets me I think. A marriage can be so good or it can be so bad. It is pretty hard to know what you are going to get too since you really won't know the person until it is too late! Heck, they probably don't know themselves either.

I've had a bad marraige and a wonderful one. Fortunately the great one is in the present tense.
