Big difference between being rude to Governor Schwarzenegger and constantly cheering for our President to fail. At least that gay guy's incivility was not anti-America.

no? how about this grain. I am a republican leaning independant and they dont speak for me. I am certain there are a few others dont you think? I did not laugh when Chicago didnt get the Olympics. He called in support as he should have since there are a lot more important things to attend to at the moment. So do you feel Dems speak with one voice?

Of course not. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, but I do lean to the left on a whole lot of issues. It may be that leaning clouding my vision, but it seems that the right-wing wackos are a whole lot louder than their left-wing counterparts. And the so-called "mainstream Republicans" seem to be listening.

Prove me wrong, and it will make me feel a lot better about the future of our country.

How about if you are laughing not at the sad fact that we lost a chance to make money when Rio got the nod but if at the funny idea that after all that international ass kissing and being nominated for most admired place, we got tossed out at the first round of elimination?

Agreed. However, all that star power did nothing when money is concerned, IMO. Basically the "I love you but $$ talks".

You actually believe that folks that did not want the Olympics to come to Chicago, and vocalized happiness when that did not happen are guilty of treason against the USA? What are you smoking? Go get them arrested and charged!!!!
