Beef addiction

Once you taste Grass raised Beef, you'll NEVER be satisfied with the corn raised
junk ever again!

I can't even find a supplier anywhere near me in the Southeast.

[Although the Cattle 4 miles down the road, at Bethesda,
continually Munch grass.'And my mouth waters every time I drive past.]

Grass-fed business going nuts!

I am amazed at the response I'm getting to our beef. This is turning into a full-time job.

Imagine what the customer demand would be if the cattle were raised on acai berries and pomegranates.

Watch Food, Inc. and you'll never look at corn-fed beef the same way again.

Ahhh, dang it all, Carleton. I'd been working on a chance to work "cud" into this thread. Ah well, no sense crying over spilled milk.

Compress, might be worth a drive to VA to see Polyface farm and buy some of their beef. They don't ship. You can see more of them in the film "Food Inc."
http://www.polyfacefarms.com/default.aspx

While we're primarily a dairy goat farm, we raise our own beef and pork on grass, selling or trading extra to the neighbors. Demand is very high around here too. Grass fed beef can be a learning curve for those used to throwing a fatty steak on the grill and cooking it for 5 minutes a side. Low and slow is the way to go, and the flavor is incomparable.
