The struggling Purdue football team on saturday managed to put together a solid effort and knocked off an overconfident 6th ranked Ohio State team here in West Lafayette!

Our guys just came out and took the game to Ohio State with great pressure and never giving up.

A personal message to our Quarterback, Joey Elliot, from Drew Brees was a good encourager which no doubt helped with the victory.

Brees is a class act!

That was a great game!

My UConn Huskies got a big win over Louisville but that became secondary after Junior CB Jasper Howard was stabbed to death outside a school sponsored dance party on campus. It's a sad irony that the kid went to rural Storrs to escape the violence of Miami.

That was amazing... I was at our local school's homecoming, and checked the scores my phone. I thought it was a glitch on espn's scoreboard, but kept checking. Couldn't believe it! Saw the highlights on TV Saturday night; quite a game!

MICHIGAN is the worst team in the BIG TEN.

The natives are restless in Ann Arbor.

They need to defeat OHIO STATE, to win six games, which would entitle MICHIGAN, to go to a bowl game. So they probably won't be going.

Things could be worse at PURDUE, but they aren't. You could be in Ann Arbor.
