Going to get 230E
In a few hours, I'm making a road trip to pick up an 81 230E. Not sure why I want a gasser after 10 diesels, but guess it's time to branch out a little. I say a little, since it's still a 123 obviously. Not sure if it's got the SLS, will find out later. I'll post pics tomorrow, since I probably wont' get home til after dark.

Manual or Auto? The 230E is a very good vehicle. Very popular in most of the world outside the US. An uncle of mine had one. It was a four speed manual. Kind of like a rocket in relation to my, and my brothers, 200's. Manual and auto respectively. Only thing you need to be weary of is the timing chain. Similar issues to the V8's but should be a lot cheaper to replace.

I saw your post with the pictures it looks really nice and the price is great. If you can't stand the smell of gasoline send me a PM I would buy it off you.

Car was rusted beyond what I expected. Sorry. It was a 4 speed manual. It did not come home with me.
