Do w124's have traction control?

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering if the w124's have traction control or any type of form of it? I remember my friend in his 91 300E would try to fishtale in a puddle of water on concrete road and the car would never let him.

Then I thought about snow and how well the w124 does in snow, does it do good? Also I'm not talking about the 4 matics just the everyday 300E/D

If the car has active traction control (ASR or ASD) there will be a yellow symbol in the center of the speedo that lights up when the system is "keeping you safe". There will also be an idiot light for the system that comes on for the lamp test.

Ahhh okay, so I can say that the models from years 85-93 did not come with it? It was just a great suspension configuration that prevented the car from slipping in some scenarios? Makes sense.

They're such great cars! I miss my 300E sometimes

The US 1991 300D 2.5 Turbo Sedan was available with optional ASD (Automatic Locking Differential); ASR (Automatic Slip Control) was an option on 300E sedans except the 4-Matic. It was also an option on the TE Wagon and 300CE

In 1992, ASR was a standard feature on the 300TE and 500E, optional on everything else but the 4-Matic

In 1993, it went back to "optional" status, except the 500E
