Anyone seen the new version of "The Prisoner?"
I have watched the original and the newer versions of "The Prisoner" and they certainly cast the Number Two person well. Ian McKellen is every bit as good as Leo McKern was, but I truly wonder if Jim Caveziel will show himself to be as capable as the late Patric Mc Goohan was.
Mc Goohan wrote the original series, don't know if you knew that. I did notice the 1960s stretch MB fintail in one scene, as well as the Messerschmidt. I was expecting to see some Citroens in the mix but none so far.

I watched all the originals.
Don't get this one, or really don't get how it could survive. They never really explained WHY he was there, a couple of quick flashbacks. Those of us that saw the original series, and it's predessor understand, anyone today just won't get it. Even so it was kind of strange, didn't have any real plot. But I have tonites setup to record, hoping it will come together better.
