It is a trip but not unexpected. I mean look at how many people thought Bush was some kind of manly man leader. Astounded me the way people couldn't see through the good ol' boy pose. The way he does that little jerking of his chin when he's said something that he finds particularly amusing is way overdone. Contrivance.
But no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
