Getting my snows put on tomorrow and a question

So i'm back for thanksgiving break this whole week and i scheduled to have my snow tires put on tomorrow.

Well, the weather has been exceptionally beautiful and judging from the radar map, the next low pressure system moving in won't be here until Turkey day/ spawn-of-shopping-Satan-weekend?

Will running my snows on dry warm pavement hurt them? It looks like the weather is going to stay around the 40s and be slightly wet for awhile.

Unless you have gummy-snows and it's dry pavement 'til New Years, most snows being made today shouldn't have any issues...

And, if the pavement is wet, you'll have better traction than > 95% of the people on the road around you...

Don't sweat it...you're prepared, and isn't that what it's all about?

Besides, you don't want to wait 'til there's four inches on the ground and you're "Number 98!" in line for the weekend waiting to have the newbie intern, Joe Thumbs, mounting your newest investment on your alloy rims with a 5# sledge, then re-attaching your rims using the "400ft-lbs., 1-2-3-4-5 lug nut/bolt attachment/tightening" scheme, right?

Get 'em done right and on YOUR schedule and at a relaxed pace.

You'll sleep better knowing it WAS done right...

I think I will be putting mine on the Wagon this week.

I also bought a set for the Wife's Buick Roadmaster. I have been watching craigslist for an extra set of rims for it, but no luck. Looks like I will be putting my 40s era tire machine to work. 15 inch tires that size are a piece of cake anyway. The low profile tires can be a real B though.

put 'em on now. the snow in ithaca will come out of nowhere and that'll be it. and, as stated, the lines of late comers get bigger and bigger to get those snows on. i had mine put on last week, studded too and finally got a set of hubbies instead of bundts. gotta post some pics.

plus, mounting your snows early pretty much guarantees that we won't have snow for weeks.
