The Blue Angles' museum in Pensacola is well worth the trip. There is also a pretty good air museum in Galveston with all displays being in operable condition. The Evergreen museum in Oregon is also good.

My god, that's unbelievable. I'm guessing that's the smithsonian? That place has expanded incredibly since I was there back in 93. I'm amazed at the amount of Axis stuff in there.

Another great air museum is the Wright-Patterson Air Force museum in Dayton Ohio. It has a full size B-36 hanging from the rafters. I particularly like the Wright-Pat because it has a Sturtevant Aero engine which was built by my second great grand father's company the B F Sturtevant Fan Co.

The Wright-Pat is far better than the Smithsonian in DC but not as good as this one in Va.
