here's the heads up. my computer has been giving me hell, It's slow to start up now and my firewall keeps Turning off, i've had this computer hibernate on me more times them I care to count... lucky enough for me it was a hibernate, not a shut down. I contacted Mcaffe my current firewall Provider whom I get for free though our cable company (comcast). And after a wonderfully delightful Exchange of Bovine Excrement on their part, they've come to the conclusion that I've Downloaded a Screen saver, Search utility or something that would have given me a virus... well, the flaw in that is I have not. this computer is approx 3 months old. only thing I installed was my photoshop, Google talk, Windows live messenger, Echo link (ham radio thing), and a few other radio tools I needed. I've downloaded nothing that I can see that would have the chance to give me a Virus, but then again I could be wrong....

What my computer is doing is this:
Startups/shutdowns are unbelievably Slow unlike before
resumes from Standby, hibernation etc are also painfully slow
my Firewall turns itself off every so often and I fix it right away
my computer hibernates whenever it feels like.

Any suggestions?
