Above. I do not think FL ever saw 27 below. All those old folks would pack up and leave I remember when I lived in Miami back in the 70's. It snowed once. Now when I say snow, I think we got less than an inch. My mom saved the head lines. That was indeed a rare occurrence.

It's easy for some folks elsewhere in the world to forget that Florida does span at least some latitude. It's not all palm trees, beaches, and citrus!

Are you seeing 27 °F? In what part of the state?

If you're going to bust on him about "above" or "below", aren't you going to ask whether it's Farenheit or Celsius?

Take comfort in the knowledge that today is the "shortest day" of the year aka Winter Solstice.
It's all uphill from here.
Rejoice!

You guys below the Mason-Dixon line are a bunch of babies. At this time of year, 27 degrees is the daily high in my neighborhood: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/18454?lswe=18454&from=searchbox_localwx

Does this mean you've fixed your fuel problem?

It won't last long.....it still is the Sunshine state in my book. It's going down to 18 degrees this week where I live. Wanna trade places?

I thought about including kelvin, but the opening post referred to "27 degrees". By convention, we no longer use "degrees kelvin" - just "kelvin" (not capitalized) or the symbol "K".

That may sound persnickety, but that's the way it is!
