Bought a new house. What is this?

This is in the cabinet next to the stove. Any ideas what this is for? LOL.

It looks like it's intended to hold flat baking dishes, cookie sheets, etc.

LOL...

Too narrow for baking sheets. Note the angled metal on the right side that would block something flat, unless they were aligned to the left (looking down). Besides, who would have that many cookie sheets??

We thought, at first, some type of sock or towel drying rack. Seems dumb, though.

The main tall rails are adjustable...

I think frying pan holder might be the winner! handles up, the angled piece allows for different diameters... Have to try that!!

I'm expanding it beyond frying pans to all pots and pans. Looks like it could be adjusted to accommodate deeper pots.

What does the Jiggly chest in your avatar signify Mistress? It is thought provoking.

Speaking of avatars...has anyone seen the movie yet?

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

My daughter saw it, but I could not gain any useful information by asking her about it.

Someone else told me the 3D was cool, but the plot was lame.

The only thing I can think of that it lends itself to is (as mentioned) a dryer of various items - gloves, shoes. It might be useful for stretching condoms out so that they may more easily accommodate one's girth, a problem I confront all the time.
