Possible new transmission? Any way to find out?

I replaced my flex disk on my 260E yesterday and someone said they thought my transmission looked unusually clean...I did no cleaning at all on it.

I have no history on the car at all and the PO never returned my calls.

Is there a way that I can figure out if this is a new transmission? or not the original transmission in the car?

Looks very clean to me even if it lived outside the rust belt.

Why aren't the allen head bolts centered in the flex disc?

Right. The rest of the underside is just covered with dirt and grime.

Those bolts came with the kit...Kit was OEM and same type of bolts came off. I do remember seeing in the Haynes manual that none were allen key which was odd. Maybe the later ones had no allen heads..?
