The end must be near. I agree with JR on something.

Harry Reid will get fired at the next election, but that has nothing to do with a few comments about Obama.

Stupid stupid comments.
Stupid, but honest. White America is not going to elect Al Sharpton outside of a congressional post where he can draw upon a narrow band of the citizenry.

Jessee Jackson was too black to rise to the top in national electoral politics.

I'm not wild about Reid. Never have been. But I'd take him over Trent Lott in a heartbeat, and this business of conflating Reid's recent remarks and Lott's Thurmond remarks is pure nonsense. Not in the same hemisphere.

Bill Cosby and other prominent blacks have spoken on the value of black youth learning to speak proper English.

Kyl and Cornyn, Rr senators, AZ and TX respectively, have long given me a serious pain. Dishonest borderline thugs. "Big John" Cornyn is sorta handsome in the classical sense and that's about all he has going for him. Kyl is an ass, from start to finish.

I hope the video footage of them comparing Lott to Reid is framed and preserved prominently for all to see.

I would not call Jesse 'too black", his real problem is that he is gross hypocrite who claims to preach the Gospel while he cheats on his wife. I am so glad to see that idiot off the national stage it isn't funny, alls he did was make the Democrats look bad.

Here in Texas his nickname is "Cornhole Cornyn".

We Agree!
If Jesse were to run, my opposition would have NOTHING to do with his race. His hypocrisy is the chief obstacle as well as his leftist views. Why would I ever support such a candidate. But If he were to run, I am certain that my opposition would be characterized as "racist".

Jackson's dialect is going to ring as African American to many Americans, way more than Obama. Jackson leans in the direction of Rev. Wright, Obama in the direction of Sidney Poitier.

Jackson is a better man than Sharpton, IMO but he has too many flaws to make it big.

IMO, the left needs to stay away from Jackson; just like the right needs to stay away from their nut-jobs. Picking up a little extra support from the base isn't worth looking silly to the middle.
