I guess you would have a hard time seeing all those stubborn Rr senators as apes. Buncha thick headed power brokers, IMHO. Most of the dems too for that matter but the Rrs are undisputed champions.

Senate and planet do not rhyme. Planet and Janet rhyme.
The senator is tired of waiting for things to be done, and has stopped other things from being done until this is done. Of course what needs to be done will favor the folks in his district- would you have him do something else? How do you propose to have him see that it is in his better interest to NOT have things that favor the voters in his district happen?
