MY power went out at 6:30 yesterday morning. Still out
Top of a pine tree snapped under the weight of the heavy wet stuff and high wind and landed right alongside my outside. hvac unit just before the power went down. Still about 60,000 homes around here without power.
Fortunately, the g'f's power was uninterrupted. Stayed there last night and will tonight too.
Worst snowfall here in a long time, maybe going back to 1978. I guess I got around 20-22 inches. On top of about 8 or so last weekend. WTF.
Cardiac workout for cardiac patients!. Not!
I'd take pics with my cell camera except I have a failing battery. I went to ATT this afternoon and " we only have one computer working and you're number three". Can you sell me a battery for my blackberry. "We don't have any". Can I upgrade? "Not without the computer". I'll be back tomorrow.

Hard to believe what a difference a couple hundred miles make, we didn't see a single flakes but even in parts of Jersey they got some significant snowfall. I wish we got some of that!

Went to check on the house at 10am this morning. As soon as I opened the door, the power came back on. So we are back home trying to warm the house. It was down to 35 inside. Up to 60 now. More fun snow tomorrow!

Bring it! The CT meteorologists have already begun the hype! "3-6", 6-10" or more. We just don't know yet."

We really could use some plowable snow, I know a lot of the landscapers/snow removal guys are really hurting. As if the state of the economy weren't enough, here in central CT I think we've only had a half dozen snow "events" so far this year and three of them were in the 2" or less range. My accounts are only for play money, a lot of guys count on it to make ends meet.

4" of the wet primo snow man making stuff in the last 24 hours. Its tapering off now. I was a little ticked off since this is our third snow event in 3 weeks. Then I started looking at everyone else's photos.

The old lady's and safety moms love this crap, they will be out in force at the stores! You abolutly need a monster 4wd SUV with a huge V8 to drive to the store and buy a weeks worth of food because 3in of snow is coming.

I tell you I am darn happy to have the Suburban here in Virgina! Plenty of morons on all seasons or worse yet high performance summer tires trying to get around in the muck - even the main roads still have 3-5 inches of garbage on them - icy slush, ice, and snow!

I passed six cars plowed into the ditch today and they were not there yesterday!

At least most of them were ricers with fart cans and spoilers

There was one Crown Vic and an X5 in the ditch a well...

Where I am they did not bother plowing a second time and the road has almost a foot of snow on it still!

I do agree that driving do the Wegmans and buying 100 gallons of milk, 60 loaves of bread and every freaking can of peas is overkill!

Well, still trying to enjoy winter, if it would ever freakin' snow around here....wait...maybe tomorrow

I do have some grass plans in mind, got some manure on the beds, and will most likely need to find a good source for seed....I KNOW... HARTS~!!!
