Web Hosting Recommendation

I'm starting a new business and want to use a website to promote it. I know nothing of creating a web page. Can you recommend a web hosting site that is good and will enable a neophyte to create and update content. I assume some services provide a template that is designed for an idiot (like me) to easily create something snazzy.

A few weeks a go I saw or heard an advertisements for just such a service, but my brain has dumped the name of the company and a Google search turned up empty.

Intuit has been advertising their web services pretty hard lately on TV, perhaps that's the one you saw.

THAT'S IT. Thanks. I'll check them out but would still appreciate guidance from anyone.

That is an ok site, but it does have a bit of "I created this using a free service" look to it.

One comment: Some would advise against having your e-mail address presented in a way that makes it easy for it to be picked up by robots looking for addresses to which to send Spam.

On my web site, I use the crude method of displaying the e-mail address as a graphic.

Even spacing out the Email address as it is now the bots will get, Have you thought about a contact form?

I have so much to learn!

Ok, I just figured out to make an email link instead of spelling out my address. Will the dreaded bots feast on this as well?

Made some other changes too.

Thanks so much for your comments.

even a
Code:
 Mailto:"yourname@yourdomain.com"
the bots'll get. your best bet is to do a simple graphic in photoshop or put in a Contact form which when someone clicks submit it'll go to your address.

I thought the same thing you did, but then I looked at his revised site. It looks as though he's using a contact form now, doesn't it?

Your website looks good!

Text is also large enough for seniors to read.
