So angry

I just had a kid drop some sort of mud crap off of an overpass onto my car. Thankfully there wasn't a lot of traffic or I could have caused an accident.

I called the police, but I doubt the little rat was caught.

Wow, that's bad luck. Sure it didn't come from the business end of a cow?

No just dirt and water. I'm just peeved because I sent the thing through a car wash 3 days ago.

Just be glad it was not rocks or bricks mixed in. Thankfully you did not have an accident.

That really sucks. every time I go under an over pass, I always think about that happening.
at least this time no damage or injuries.

About 20 yrs ago there was a truck strike. don`t remember the issues why, too many years ago.
A lot of the owner operators were still driving, an this probably PO`d the teamsters. some one threw a large piece of concrete off an overpass and came through the guys windshield and killed him. he was a young guy with wife and kids.

I never did like Unions, and that didn`t make me like them any better.
X2 on Loosers.

Hey! I thought this is a DIY Forum. What do you mean taking your MB to a car wash?

At least they didn't take a (perfectly timed) dump off the overpass onto your car. That would have been much worse.

Karma catching up to me. I rewashed and waxed the sucker this afternoon. She's looking mighty fine once again.

Now the rust that has somehow gotten much worse is a different story.

That's what going to be going on in May. I'm going to do some major body work.

Sand down the rust, POR, repair.

Even better, I'm going to pull the seats out of the car and remove all of that sound dampening material. I found a small lake of water from the snow that I dragged in with my boots

Check a post that I did about soundproofing for tips on how to take everything apart and get the factory soundproofing material up. It might help.

I saw your post a while ago and i kept it in mind when I had my heat gun and paint scraper. It's still a pain in the butt to pull that junk up.
