Whew! I give up, too heady for me. Someone really wants this car. I upped my bid several times only to be outbid by somebody's proxy bid. I went as high as $405.71 and my blood pressure just can't take any more.

Ending bid of $2700 which is still too much IMO for that Benz. Hopefully this brings him back down to reality a bit. Probably not though.

Obviously if the car were worth anywhere close to 100k it would have brought at least 10% of it, which your car didn't.

Welcome to reality... Just because its rare does not make it valuable. I think the final price was more than fair for the car.
