When Lincoln was President a penny was worth something.

Sadly, you're correct.

How about a third rate businessman in the oil industry with parental connections who managed to become President?

We also have a bodybuilder who managed to bankrupt a State.

And that's why I love this country. Could you just imagine when an Oscar winner would become president.

Or, perhaps, a community activist with no administrative experience?

Too many responses with too much editorial content masquerading as "news" items.

You guys keep living in your dream world.

You left out a Harvard law degree, President of the Harvard law review, and a US Senator. Concerning administrative experience, I see no lack of executive talent on his part.

Nothing wrong with being a community activist as it shows an interest in connecting with real people, not just the affluent and special interest folks.

Strange how when you're presented with the relatively recent history of so called "conservative" leadership, you have no comment. Talking about dream worlds, your "conservatives" representatives have left little to be admired.

It's really unfortunate that you're blind to the fact that the Repos are the worst transgressors............claim "conservative" but spend frivolously every chance they get.

Hahahaha someone in hardlines has a bit of humor at that Kmart store

How about we don't stick Ronnie's picture on any reserve notes and just let him fade into presidential obscurity like Van Buren and Harrison?

Nuff Sed
He was the beginning of the GOP that always promises smaller government, and then always expands it.

Next thing you know a half-governor of Alaska with a thin resume will be running the place.

Yup.
I voted for Reagan the first time he ran for president. I haven't voted for a Republican presidential candidate since.
