If by here, you mean online, then yes. If your price is reasonable and your work good im sure plenty of people would love to have parts refinished. My dad would be very interested im sure

Same here. Although you need to ask yourself a few questions namely who else is doing this, how do they refinish the wood and how much do they charge.

I'm not sure yet. a full sheet of the Zebrano 4X8 verneer is ~140.00 I dont know how much wood a full set would take, but I'm sure not too much. I'd just have to see really. I have a 124 and 126 Set of wood I can redo and post it's quality

the hard part will be getting the exact same finish that will not crack under temperature changes.

*Silently happy my wood is not cracked*

I've always wanted to switch the wood to bird's eye maple. My viola is bird's eye maple and the swirl is just one of the prettiest things I have ever seen.

I'm eventually looking to have the burlwood piece on the center console where the window switches are located, either replaced or redone. The original one has minor cracks and some fogging after 20 years.

If you are interested in a w126 job for that in burlwood, depending what Mercedes Benz wants for a new one - I would be interested in an estimate.

If I can do it decently there's a verneer place that has TONS of different verneers that can be ordered, I've seen some really pretty stuff from Floridian Cypress to the birds eye maple.

Hope I'm not stealing your 'thunder', but I just got mine re-finished this past winter - took me a long time since I was not in a rush to do it... started with the console where I replaced the Zebrano veneer... then the ashtray and climate control where I simply removed the original finish but left the wood the same then just re-stained and reapplied the finish (Helmsman's Spar Urethane) - there is also Marine Spar Varnish available for ACE Hardware, but I've had trouble getting the finish right and had to strip it and re-apply the finish.... part of the reason it took me 5 months to finish this job...

Here's some pics:

It's not just temperature extremes themselves that cause the cracking and peeling. It's also UV radiation.
