The word in one of the local alternative newspapers was that these were a back-door way for the radical anti-abortion RWNJ's to start clapnig down on things. Reportedly, the bills in the senate and house were scheduled for public comment simultaneously, then time-shifted around so that no one could be able to comment on them even if they knew about them. There are some medical research and fertility doctors that were shut out of the process by these shenannigans that wanted to point out how ridiculous these were.

I think the legislature has lost its' mind completely. I guess that's what happens when the RWNJ's get in power; They prove how nuts they are.

But, like the good Anti-RWNJ you are, you looked up and confirmed that the information, or "The word in one of the local alternative newspapers..." was INDEED correct?

And if it was, well...welcome to the "My party's in power and you can't do a whole lot about it" party!

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U. S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

That's great!! Everyone who is for amnesty for unregistered democrats, I mean illegal aliens, should consider this for a little perspective on our "unfair and racist" immigration laws compared to Mexico, or any other sovereign nation for that matter.

a while back, there was talk on the science front that pig/human experiments were going on, ie implanting human stem cells in pig embryo to facilitate growing replacement organs. it sounded like a good idea. maybe this is what the bill is dealing with, although I cant imagine why.

There are a lot of people who are afraid that when we start altering genes, we are breaking a law of nature. This, IMO, is an attempt to "head it off at the pass", so to speak.

Oh. For some reason I was thinking of some locally-shot video I saw when I was in Iraq. I don't think it would be proper to describe it in too much detail, but I will note that there was a notice at the end that said, "A donkey was hurt in the making of this film."
